Tennis Membership

Cheam Fields welcomes all levels of players including children from 4 years of age and try to accommodate handicapped players. Although members can play to high competitive standards, emphasis is on enjoyment of the game.

Forms should be completed and returned, preferably with a proposer, to the Membership Secretary or the Secretary of the appropriate section.

When an application is accepted the Honorary Membership Secretary notifies you of the appropriate fee. When such fee have been received the election of members is put to the General Committee for endorsement.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are payable on election and subsequent annual adult subscriptions become due on 1st of April each year. There is a sliding scale of subscriptions for those joining during the course of the year. In addition, an entrance fee is payable on first joining the Club. The Membership Secretary will inform you how much you should pay if you join after April. If subscriptions are not paid by 31st May membership ceases.

There are 6 types of tennis membership: Adult (Senior & Intermediate standard), Five-Day (Monday to Friday), Student, Junior, Family Group and Dual Tennis/Bowls.

Note the additional initial entrance fee for new members.
